BMS Monitor: LiFePO4 is an independent application designed to monitor and configure compatible battery management systems through Bluetooth. It is not an official application of any battery management system manufacturer.
The application may process the following information received directly from a connected battery management system:
This information is processed locally on your device to display battery status, create measurement history, estimate remaining operating time, and allow you to review or change supported battery management system settings.
Battery measurements, BMS settings, cell voltages, Bluetooth device data, local measurement history, and exported settings backups are not intentionally transmitted to Google AdMob or used by the Developer for advertising.
The application uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements on iOS and Android. Advertisements are requested and delivered through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google and its advertising partners may process certain information to provide, limit, personalize where permitted, measure, secure, and improve advertisements. Advertising availability and personalization depend on your region, consent choices, platform settings, network availability, and Google policies.
The Developer does not sell battery information or personal information. The Developer does not intentionally provide battery readings, BMS configuration values, Bluetooth device data, local history, or exported settings backups to Google for advertising.
Depending on the platform, device settings, region, consent choices, SDK configuration, and Google services available to the application, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as:
Google determines how information processed through its advertising services is used and retained in accordance with its own terms, policies, consent signals, and legal obligations.
The application uses Google User Messaging Platform to request and store privacy choices where legally required. The consent message and available options may vary by region and by Google requirements.
Users in supported regions can review or change their advertising privacy choices from Settings, then Advertising and privacy, then Manage advertising privacy.
Changing a privacy choice may affect whether advertisements are personalized, limited, or available. A change does not prevent all advertising related processing where processing is permitted or required for purposes such as delivering contextual advertisements, security, fraud prevention, frequency control, or measurement.
On supported iOS versions, the application requests permission through Apple App Tracking Transparency before its first advertising request. The system prompt explains that permission allows advertising identifiers to be used to provide and measure personalized advertisements.
If you deny or restrict permission, the iOS advertising identifier remains unavailable. Denying ATT permission does not block Bluetooth communication, battery monitoring, local history, settings backups, or other BMS features. Advertisements may still be contextual or limited where permitted by your Google User Messaging Platform choices, platform settings, and applicable law.
You can review or change the ATT permission later in the iOS privacy settings. The application and Google advertising services must respect the current platform authorization status.
The application requires Bluetooth access to find, connect to, read data from, and send supported commands to compatible battery management systems.
Bluetooth access is used for communication with devices selected by the user. Bluetooth device data and scan results are not intentionally supplied to Google AdMob.
On older Android versions, the operating system may classify Bluetooth scanning as requiring location permission. The application does not use Bluetooth scan results to determine your physical location. Google may separately infer an approximate location from the IP address used when an advertisement request is made.
The following information may be stored in the private application storage on your device:
The local settings backup may include the date of the backup, detected protocol version, battery management system model or device name, and supported configuration values.
Battery and BMS information remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it. Advertising privacy choices may be processed by Google services as necessary to apply your selections.
The application allows you to export a settings backup as a JSON file.
The exported file may contain battery management system configuration values, protocol information, the device model or device name, and the date when the backup was created.
You choose where the exported file is saved and whether it is shared with another person or service. Files exported through the operating system are controlled by you and by the applications or storage providers you select.
The Developer does not receive a copy of an exported file, and exported settings backups are not intentionally transmitted to Google AdMob.
Depending on your device settings, locally stored application data may be included in an operating system backup, device transfer, iCloud backup, or Google backup.
Such backups are provided and controlled by Apple, Google, the device manufacturer, or another storage provider selected by you. Their processing of backup data is governed by their own privacy policies.
The Developer does not sell battery information or personal information.
Advertising related information described in this Privacy Policy may be processed by Google, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google User Messaging Platform, and advertising partners for advertisement delivery, consent management, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
Battery and BMS information may leave your device only when you deliberately export or share a settings file, create a device backup, or use an operating system feature that transfers application data. It is not intentionally shared with Google AdMob.
The application uses Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google User Messaging Platform. Distribution through the App Store or Google Play is also subject to the privacy practices of Apple or Google.
Advertisements may link to external applications, websites, products, or services. Those destinations are operated independently and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
For more information about Google data practices and advertising controls, review:
Measurement history and local settings backups remain stored on your device until you delete them, clear the application data, or uninstall the application.
Temporary Bluetooth information and live battery readings are kept in memory only for as long as necessary to provide the application features, unless a reading is added to local measurement history.
Advertising related information is retained by Google according to Google policies, applicable consent choices, legal obligations, and service configuration. The Developer does not control Google retention periods.
You may delete measurement history using the available application controls.
You may remove locally stored application information by clearing the application data in your device settings or by uninstalling the application. Exported files must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.
Users in supported regions may change advertising privacy choices from Settings, then Advertising and privacy, then Manage advertising privacy. You may also use operating system privacy controls and Google advertising controls.
The Developer cannot remotely access or delete local battery information. Requests concerning information processed independently by Google should be submitted using Google privacy tools and contact methods.
The application relies on security protections provided by the mobile operating system, private application storage, and the security measures used by integrated service providers.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, exported backup files, device backups, and access to the connected battery management system.
Information transmitted to Google advertising services is handled under Google security practices. You should not share exported settings files if they contain information you consider confidential.
The application is not directed to children and is not designed to collect battery or BMS information from children.
The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Google advertising services may process advertising related information as described in this Privacy Policy and according to Google policies, platform rules, consent choices, and age related requirements.
Battery configuration should only be performed by a competent adult who understands the relevant electrical and battery safety requirements.
Depending on your country, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
Because battery and BMS information is stored locally and is not intentionally transmitted to the Developer, the Developer normally has no battery application data that can be accessed, corrected, transferred, or deleted on your behalf.
If you contact the Developer by email, your email address and the information included in your message may be processed to respond to your request. Correspondence will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and comply with applicable legal obligations.
For information processed by Google, you may use Google privacy tools, My Ad Center, partner advertising controls, or contact Google directly. You may contact the Developer using the details below if you need assistance identifying the appropriate service.
Battery readings, BMS settings, cell voltages, Bluetooth device data, local history, and exported settings backups are not intentionally transmitted to servers operated by the Developer or to Google AdMob.
Google may process advertising related information in countries other than the country where you live using its own global infrastructure and safeguards. Details about Google international processing and legal protections are available in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you contact the Developer or use a third party backup, storage, or sharing service, information may also be processed in locations determined by your email, storage, device, or platform provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.
The updated version will be published at the same Privacy Policy address and will include a revised effective date.
Material changes may also be communicated within the application or through the application store listing when appropriate.
