Calmie ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Calmie mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
Calmie versions that include analytics use Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to understand how features are used and improve the App. The current integration sends analytics from the iPhone and iPad app, including when the iOS app runs on a compatible Mac. Completed Apple Watch sessions are reported through the companion iPhone app. The current integration does not send analytics directly from the native Mac or Apple Vision Pro app.

These events can be associated with the same app installation or device over time. They are pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous, even though Calmie does not require an account or attach your name or email address to analytics events. The current build enables analytics automatically and does not include an analytics switch in the App.
Calmie does not send your mood, personal notes, Apple Health data, ADHD Mode or Chronic Pain Mode settings, or detailed personal session records as analytics events. The current analytics integration does not include Firebase Crashlytics. Calmie does not use analytics for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
Meditation settings such as session duration, selected sounds, and user preferences may be stored locally on your device to personalize your experience.

Versions of Calmie that include analytics send the information described above to Google Analytics for Firebase. Google processes this information to provide analytics services under its applicable terms and privacy practices. Calmie does not use analytics for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites and does not sell analytics data.
Calmie is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You may contact us with questions about your privacy or requests concerning analytics data using the email address below. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We may need additional information to identify the relevant installation; providing an email address alone does not identify your analytics records.
Analytics retention depends on the settings configured for our Google Analytics property and Google's applicable retention practices. Deleting the App does not automatically delete analytics data already received by Google. Aggregated reports may no longer be attributable to an individual installation. Personal preferences stored only on your device can be removed by deleting the App's local data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
